When you have been infected by Adware Spyware there is usually a need to remove the culprit or ‘clean-up’ your system due to there being a real threat to your personal security and information.
Unfortunately the reality is that sometimes even if you have Spyware Protection, certain adware and spyware programs are designed to be difficult to remove. This is usually because they are designed to infect multiple sections of your system including hiding within hard to find system files and the system registry. Attempting to remove the programs using standard methods may seem to work at first, however soon after the program reappears after a certain time, action or after you reboot your system.
In these circumstances when normal Anti Spyware Software is unsuccessful in removing such programs you may need to use a Spyware Cleaner tool to do the job for you. There is free and/or low costing Spyware Cleaner tools available that that will check your computer for spyware and other unwanted software and help you remove it.
To ensure that you find and use the correct Spyware Cleaner, follow the rules below:
- Use your current Virus/Spyware software to run a full system scan and remove all infected programs.
- Re-run another full scan to ensure that all infected programs have been removed, and if not then fire up your web browser.

- Perform a search for the infected file(s) on the internet (it’s a wealth of knowledge out there). There is a high probability that somebody else has already been infected by the same spyware and has already found a solution.
- Look for well known websites offering information on your search. Large organizations usually have a database of known viruses and adware spyware and offer information on them.
- Read the article or knowledge base entry. Again if you are reading an article from a large organizations database collection then they will 99% of the time also explain how to remove the program using either a specialized Spyware Cleaner or similar other method.
Ultimately you need to use the correct Spyware Cleaner to perform the right job or you won’t actually remove any infected programs. A little research can save a lot of time and frustration, so before you give up and try to reformat your system which can be extremely time consuming and just as frustrated follow the steps above and you may be able to rid your system of all infected programs quickly and easily.
